About Ikebana
At Ikebana Sangetsu USA, we're driven by a profound mission – to ignite and nurture your passion for the art of Ikebana, an ancient Japanese floral arrangement technique celebrated for its emphasis on harmony, balance, and elegance.
"Ike" (生け) from the verb "ikeru" (生ける), which means "to arrange" or "to make alive." And "Bana" (花) means "flower." So, "Ike" and "Bana" together, "Ikebana" literally means "arranging flowers" or "making flowers come alive."
